Pumpkin spice lattes are back at Starbucks! While I adore these sweet seasonal treats my wallet doesn’t. Rachelle’s Starbucks latte habit cost her $2,971 a year…and I just don’t have that kind of cash to spend on coffee. These pumpkin spice coffee recipes are a great way to give your coffee that delicious pumpkin flavor without breaking the bank.
Pumpkin Spice Coffee Creamer
This takes just a few minutes and can be stored for up to a week. You’ll need:
- 2 cups half & half
- 1/3 c. 100% Pure Pumpkin Puree
- 1/4 tsp. Pumpkin Pie Spice
- 1/4 cup Maple Syrup
- 1/4 packed light brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Pumpkin Spice Simple Syrup
This will be the perfect addition to your morning coffee this fall. This recipe can also be stored for one week. You’ll need:
- 1 cup water
- 2/3 cup brown sugar (or your desired sweetener)
- 1/3 cup pumpkin puree
- 1 tbs.
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
Put water, sugar, puree, and spices in a saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil while stirring consistently. Then, lower heat allowing it to simmer for three minutes. Add vanilla extract and you’re done! Find the full recipe .
Pumpkin Spice for Not-A-Latte
This recipe may be my favorite! It takes just 60 seconds and you’ll only need one ingredient. Simply drop a bag of Tazo Chai Pumpkin Spice Tea into your morning coffee. Let it sit for one minute and then drink your coffee. It’s just an extra 20¢ per cup AND the black tea will even add a little more caffeine to your coffee. Yum!
Dairy Free & Vegan Blended Pumpkin Spice Coffee Recipe
This is a great recipe for those with diet restrictions. Basically you’ll just have to switch out your milk for almond milk to make this dairy free. For this recipe you’ll need:
- 16 Frozen Coffee Cubes (1½ cups strong coffee)
- 1 tbs. Sweetener of Choice*
- 3 tbs. Canned Pumpkin Puree
- 1-1½ cups Silk Vanilla Almondmilk (to desired consistency)
- 1/2 tsp. Pumpkin Pie Spice
Just pour all ingredients and blend until slushy consistency. Yum!
Easy Pumpkin Spice Coffee
This is about as simple as you can get. Simply add some pumpkin pie spice to your regular coffee. All you’ll need is:
- Ground Coffee (use your favorite brand)
- ⅛ tsp. (per cup so if brewing 8 cups, use 1 tsp.)
